WILD WATER / Spirit of the Desert
Herbaceous, smoky, and laced with sacred memory—Spirit of the Desert carries the wild essence of Juniper, Chaparral, and Great Western Sage.
This is deep remembering in a bottle: a mist that clears the field, centers the heart, and reconnects you to what is ancient and true. Skin drinks it in like rainfall in dry earth—toning, brightening, and deeply reviving.
Created on a sun-warmed day in the high desert, distilled slowly with copper and fresh spring water, Spirit of the Desert carries more than the breath of plants. It is shaped by time, light, and the elemental transformation once known to the old alchemists—earth, air, fire, water, and spirit aligning to draw out what is essential. This is not a blend of scent or steam, but a divine presence. A medicine of place, wild-born and wise.
Sage, the blade that clears. It sharpens perception and opens pathways where heaviness once settled. Chaparral, keeper of memory and stories, steeped in sun and survival, offers its ancient, resinous intelligence. And juniper, with its blue-bloomed berries and watchful branches, brings protection, grounding, and bright clarity to the soul. Together, they compose a desert trinity—arid, fragrant, vital.
Mist it onto the face, the scalp, the skin. Let it enter through breath or through touch. This sacred water meets you where you are and offers itself fully.
Ways to use this water:
- Mist into your palms and anoint your body—a gesture of self-tending, of quiet intimacy. May it soften the armor, calm the breath, return you to yourself.
- Add a tablespoon to a warm bath alongside sea salt. Soak, then rinse. Once dry, spray your palms and gently sweep them down the length of your body to ground and close.
- Before meditation, mist your hands. Inhale. Let the scent meet your senses, and begin your listening there.
- Raise your vibration by misting overhead, around your body, and across your heart. Set your intention and receive it.
- To clear a space, open the windows and mist around the room’s edges and center. Hold a quiet thought for what you wish to release.
- For rest, spray lightly above your head, down to your feet, and across your pillow before sleep.
- Cleanse your altar or sacred tools by misting each object with intention. Offer thanks for the energy they hold. Ask for their guidance.
- To bless a flame, mist your palms, and smooth them over the surface of a candle or bundle of herbs before lighting. Let the fire burn with purpose.
- As a part of your skin care ritual, use as a toner to clarify and soothe. For the hair and scalp, mist to enliven and restore. A breath of the desert, made water.

THE PROCESS
Our skin tonic formulas are made of hydrosols, which is a physical manifestation of alchemy – a substance of transformation. The process touches all five elements. As plant material harvested from the Earth is placed inside a copper alembic still it is then mixed with fresh spring Water and heated by Fire which transforms it into vapor (Air & Ether). This vapor condensed down into a beautiful aromatic hydrosol.
